The ACCUPLACER test will help you and your academic advisor select classes and plan an appropriate course of study. The tests are not used to determine admission to the college.
In-person Placement Testing
How to make an Appointment:
All tests require an appointment. To reserve your computer at Batavia main campus, please send an email to placement@qb711.com.
If you cannot keep your appointment, please make sure to cancel it so that it will become available for others.

Remote Placement Testing
Remote Testing at other institutions or by the third online proctoring companies may incur charges. In order to take your placement test remotely, you must first complete the Remote Placement Testing Request Form below. The location for your testing session will be at the testing site closest to the address you provide on the form. Any fees associated with remote testing are the student’s responsibility.
Students requesting remote placement testing must reside further than 75 miles from Batavia NY..
If you reside within 75 miles from Batavia NY, do not complete a request form. Please see our In-person Placement Testing section above.
After You Submit Your Request
After completing a request for remote testing, you will receive an important email with information and instructions for scheduling your placement test. Please allow at least 48 hours for processing your request. Depending upon your listed location, you will receive an email from:
- NoReply@accuplacer.info with Remote Voucher Notification in the subject line
- A GCC representative (email ending with @qb711.com) with Placement Testing in the subject line
Be sure to check your Spam/Junk filters if you do not receive an email from any of these addresses. Remote vouchers are only valid for 30 days. After you have completed your placement test, contact the Student Success Center at ssc@qb711.com.
